TimeLapseLab

TimelapseLab for Sonae and Sierra: a successful collaboration!

Sonae Sierra, a Portuguese company and international leader in managing and developing shopping centers, as well as in urban regeneration and residential real estate development, has chosen TimelapseLab to monitor two of its latest investments. Our company will provide remote monitoring through two TLA8 VF devices for the Pulse Lisboa construction site, which began in May 2024 and will continue for 18 months until November 2025, as well as for the new VIVA Offices construction site, which will be monitored by a TLA8 device for 12 months, from March 2024 to March 2025.

We interviewed Ricardo Melo Gonçalves, Senior Manager at Sonae Sierra, to understand the impact of our services on the projects’ progress. He shared that, especially for a company with sites spread across different continents, the chance to monitor work status and progress from a smartphone, anywhere in the world, is crucial. This feature keeps all individuals directly involved in the project constantly informed and allows them to address issues as soon as they arise, significantly speeding up the problem-solving and supervision processes within the construction sites.

He was particularly impressed with our data blurring software, thanks to artificial intelligence, can instantly blur workers’ faces, vehicle license plates, and areas outside the construction site to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In conclusion, Ricardo Melo Gonçalves mentioned that he intends to continue the business collaboration with TimelapseLab, and for this reason, new project sites are currently being reviewed to determine the best angles to locate our devices.

We are extremely proud of the recognition of our work’s impact and the fact that such important companies, always seeking innovation and improvement, consider our services a vital part of their projects.
