TLA16VF 6K is the new remote monitoring device by TimelapseLab: a 16-megapixel sensor that produces 6K images and, from those same images, 6K time lapse videos. It is not only the final film that gains: it is every single frame that reaches the platform. You can zoom into a portion of the site — a deck, a façade, a crane — and read it as if it were a photograph of its own, with no loss of sharpness. Like every TimelapseLab device, TLA16VF 6K is assembled to the customer’s requirements, in the same industrial aluminium and steel housing used across the whole range, and shipped ready to install, on a pole or on a wall, anywhere in the world.

16 megapixels: 6K stills, not just 6K video
When people hear 6K they think of video. With TLA16VF 6K, 6K is first of all the single photograph: every shot that lands in the platform is a 6K image, ready to download and use as it is — in a report, an assessment, a presentation or a social post. The 6K time lapse video comes next, generated from those very images in the platform’s built-in editor.
For progress reporting, site supervision and HSE the difference is tangible: you verify a work phase, a machine or a restricted area straight from the photo, without asking anyone on site for one more shot.
The detail is in the image, not in the zoom
To look more closely at a point on site you do not need to move the lens. With a 16-megapixel image the detail is already inside the shot: zoom in, crop, and what you get stays sharp and usable.
At full telephoto TLA16VF 6KÂ detects a person up to 240 metres away and identifies one up to 24 metres; at wide angle it covers a very large area and still recognises a subject beyond 22 metres. It is a different way of working: instead of deciding in advance what to frame, you capture everything at very high definition and choose later, in front of the screen, what to look at closely.
Motorised 2.8–12 mm zoom
TLA16VF 6K features a motorised 2.8 to 12 mm zoom, adjustable remotely from the web platform. The field of view goes from 99° at wide angle to 43° at telephoto: from an overview of the entire site to the detail of a single portion of the works, in a few clicks and with nobody sent on site.
The framing itself is changed by moving the device: the plate mount lets you reposition it quickly on another point of the site as the works progress. Remote zoom to adjust how wide you shoot, repositioning to change the point of view.
– BATTERY CHARGER AND ALTERNATIVE BATTERY
Devices with CE markings conforming to European directives, which declares, by means of the declaration of conformity (or of performance in the case of construction products), that the product complies with the safety requirements provided for by the applicable Community directives or regulations.
– CASE: Internal cable routing or through watertight cable glands supplied, anti-aging gaskets (ideal for any type of climate), low consumption heater.
– WALL SUPPORT: a fundamental accessory in the TLA8 kit is certainly the new wall support, made of aluminum and steel to ensure lightness and stability in any condition. The support is designed to be fixed to a wall or a wall by means of four fishermen (delivered together with the support) in the absence of a pole or a classic support for TimelapseLab devices.

Power supply and buffer battery
The device can be powered only by a power supply supplied by TimelapseLab to which it is possible to attach a buffer battery that makes the connection stable in the event of a sudden power failure, so as not to lose any files during work.

The batteries of TLA16VF have a quick connection socket and are AGM, an innovative technology in which there is a valve that automatically renews the energy production. The batteries are watertight and resistant to high and low temperatures, safe and do not emit any toxic vapor.
Wall support
Made of aluminum and steel to ensure lightness and stability in any condition. The support is designed to be fixed to a wall or a wall by means of four fishermen (delivered together with the support) in the absence of a pole or a classic support for TimelapseLab devices.
