With an expected completion by the first quarter of 2025, Sonae Sierra has kicked off the construction of the new futuristic VIVA Offices complex, positioned in the Industrial Zone in Porto.
Sonae Sierra is an international company specializing in the management and development of real estate centers, but not only that, it also offers consulting and real estate investment services, with a special focus on the retail sector.
The project in question consists of a contemporary architectural office development consisting of a 21,500 sq. m. building distributed over nine floors, complemented by approximately 10,000 sq. m. of gardens and green spaces and parking for more than 300 vehicles, including specific spaces for charging electric vehicles, emphasizing a commitment to a more sustainable future.
At VIVA Offices, all offices have a balcony or terrace, and the project was designed and developed based on rigorous sustainability standards, where user comfort, well-being, and experience are top priorities.
Starting in March 2024,to ensure constant and advanced monitoring of the construction site, TimeLapseLab has provided its TLA8 device that will track the work for the next 12 months. This tool is essential to maintain the high standards of efficiency and safety.
With a total investment of more than 45 million euros, the VIVA Offices project is not just a workplace but a step toward the future of sustainable business and architecture. Considering the ESG (environmental, social, and governance) aspects, the building is undergoing LEED and Wiredscore – Technology certification processes.
