Monitoring of the Construction of the Hydrogen Valley in Modena (IdrogeMO)
Modena, TimeLapseLab has been selected to document the construction of the Hydrogen Valley in Modena, also known as the IdrogeMO project. This ambitious production hub, promoted by Hera and Snam, aims to produce up to 400 tons of renewable hydrogen per year, contributing to the decarbonization of Emilia-Romagna and supporting the national energy transition.
To ensure continuous and safe monitoring of the site, TimeLapseLab has installed two time-lapse devices that work in synergy, providing a complete and detailed view of the construction progress. These devices allow every phase of the work to be observed remotely, ensuring continuous supervision and effective safety management without interfering with operator activities. This system enables quick identification of potential issues, proactive planning of interventions, and reduction of risks related to accidents or project delays.
The time-lapse devices from TimeLapseLab continuously and thoroughly document the project’s progress, providing full transparency for all stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. The combination of constant visual monitoring and detailed reporting helps optimize planning, improve communication among teams, and support faster and safer operational decisions.
The IdrogeMO project is scheduled for completion by 2026, aiming to become one of the leading renewable hydrogen production centers in Europe, representing an advanced model of innovation and safety in industrial construction site management.
