TimelapseLab collaborates with Vitali SpA on its next construction site
We are excited to announce our recent collaboration with Vitali SpA, a Genoese real estate company. Their project, with a duration of about 6 months, involves the conversion of the historic building “Hennebique,” a former grain silo from the late 1800s in Genoa.
Two devices signed TimelapseLab will be installed to monitor the construction site: a TL8, an intelligent industrial device for entirely remote construction site management with AI-based software; and a varifocal device, i.e., a device whose focal distance can be varied for better accuracy.
TimelapseLab devices are plug-and-play, high-definition, criticality-resistant devices with software that enables remote control and monitoring of jobs thanks to the innovative platform.
Thanks to network-neutral and data security, monitoring takes place in complete privacy. In fact, the devices will identify and obfuscate sensitive data in the images to protect workers’ privacy. At the same time, however, TimelapseLab’s platform automatically sends security alerts, immediately detecting and reporting possible violations of safety regulations.
The historic Hennebique building, the first in Italy to be made of reinforced concrete, will be transformed into a multifunctional hub that will include: a hotel, conference spaces dedicated to events and conferences, offices, cultural and museum routes, stores, bars, restaurants and cruise services.
