CELINE | TimelapseLab follows Celine in Chianti expansion

TimelapseLab is proud to communicate the collaboration with Celine, our reality will in fact take care of monitoring the expansion site of the Radda in Chianti plant with the use of 2 devices, for a total of 4 months of work.

Celine has been in Tuscany for years with this plant and is the result of a collaboration started with the region in view of improvement from the point of view of industry 4.0, innovation, research and training projects.

The idea of improving Made in Italy has led the company to seek, since 2015, a new and further production area. And in the end, to the detriment of other regions such as Veneto and Emilia Romagna, the choice fell on Radda in Chianti, about twenty kilometers from Greve, where an existing factory, a disused furniture factory, will be temporarily reused, pending the new manufacturing. , a few hundred meters away and part of the same lot, which will be built by March 2019 on the foundations of a building already demolished, with the same identical volumes and therefore without further soil consumption and particular attention, moreover, to energy sustainability and landscaping.

The site covers 4400 square meters, of which two thousand are productive. It housed Laca, a company of modular kitchens. The final plant will be even bigger: 5,200 square meters, of which four thousand are productive. The area is that of the Villa, near the capital, and will be an aesthetically beautiful as well as functional factory, in the style of the French company and in harmony with the surrounding landscape.

Celine is a French fashion house founded in 1945 by Céline Vipiana. Since 1996, the company has been owned by the LVMH group, which took over it for 2.7 billion francs.
