Collaboration for TIMELAPSE LAB with Ferrovie dello Stato during the works at three construction sites in Ravenna, Rimini Viserba, Susa: positioning of the new overpass in Ravenna, which will replace the Teodorico Bridge, a tunnel (underpass) at Viserba, two overpasses at Susa . The intervention on the Teodorico Bridge will serve to enhance freight traffic to and from the port of Ravenna. It will be built by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (FS Italiane Group), with an investment of over 9 million euros. The project is part of the agreements aimed at improving railway accessibility to the port area, signed with the Municipality of Ravenna, the Port Authority and the Emilia-Romagna Region.
The two works as a whole will make it possible to eliminate the level crossing between via Morri and via Polazzi. This is the first phase of the site’s activity, during which the area of the subsequent excavation below the tracks will be made safe. In particular, the “diaphragms” on which the slabs to support the railway infrastructure will rest (tracks, sleepers, ballast) on which the trains run will be built underground.
