Expansion of Loro Piana’s Facilities in Quarona

Loro Piana, famous for the production of luxury fabrics, is currently expanding its production facilities in Quarona, in Piemonte, North Italy. Founded in 1924, Loro Piana has become a symbol of excellence in the processing of fine materials such as cashmere, silk, and wool. The brand is known for its commitment to quality and innovation, always maintaining a balance between tradition and modernity.

This expansion project includes the installation of advanced rapier looms produced by Itema, aimed at improving efficiency and maintaining high standards in the production of luxury fabrics. The new facilities will focus on weaving fine yarns such as silk, cashmere, fancy wool, and linen, essential materials for Loro Piana’s famous collections. This initiative is part of a broader effort to support and improve their vertically integrated production model, ensuring complete control over quality and the sourcing of raw materials.

The construction site in Quarona is under constant monitoring thanks to TimelapseLab, through which two TLA8  devices since June 2024 enables to track the progress of the works. TimelapseLab provides continuous monitoring, ensuring that every phase of the project is documented with precision and transparency. Through that we will be able to realize at the end timelapse videos in order to see how was the construction and how it has developed.
