ABB – New San Giovanni Valdarno (AR) Establishment

TIMELAPSELAB was commissioned to monitor the work and to create a timelapse video of the construction of ABB’s new establishment in San Giovanni Valdarno, near Arezzo in Tuscany.

The new ABB’s establishment in San Giovanni Valdarno has a total size of 15,000 sqm and will become operational in early 2021. The new plant will produce recharging infrastructures for the sustainable mobility, a technological vanguard for the modern automotive and non-automotive industry. In fact, the establishment will produce ABB’s entire range of DC chargers: from systems for domestic use, to systems for installation in public areas, up to those dedicated to urban public transport.

As the global market leader in the electric mobility solutions, the $30 million investment in this new facility is further evidence of ABB’s ongoing commitment to encourage the innovation in this fast-growing sector.

ABB is a Swiss-Swedish multinational electrical engineering company headquartered in Zurich and active in robotics, power and automation in more than 100 countries. It is ranked 341st on the Fortune Global 500 list and is listed on the Zurich, Stockholm and New York stock exchanges.
