Timelapselab will follow the redevelopment and renovation of the twentieth-century building and other offices, using three TLA8 devices for remote site monitoring, for a total of 18 months. The building, which currently houses the Consulate General of Sri Lanka, in via Melzi D’Eril 34 in Milan, will undergo reinforcement of the foundations and stair blocks in order to allow the elevation of three floors.
The finalization of the sale of the properties sees two important players: Ardian, a leading private investment company in the world, and Prelios SGR, one of the leading real estate asset management companies in Italy with assets under management of 4.1 billion euros (December 2017). They announced the sale for office use to a foreign institutional investor.
The project, by Asti Architetti, provides for the reinterpretation, in a modern key, of the buildings, adding three floors that will integrate perfectly with the two-level high art-decò stone plinth and provides over 7,000 square meters of offices and commercial spaces suitable for high-density mono and multi-tenant scenarios, including accessory spaces, structures and common spaces in the internal courtyard.
