San Maurizio Hospital, Bolzano: TimelapseLab documents the renovation
San Maurizio Bolzano S.c.a r.l., the consortium led by Carron Bau together with Unionbau, has chosen TimelapseLab to document the renovation works at San Maurizio Hospital in Bolzano, a project funded by Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). For six months, a TimelapseLab device will capture the works at regular intervals, building a complete visual archive of the project’s progress.
The site always in view, even remotely
Images are sent automatically to the TimelapseLab platform. Site management, project managers and the client can check progress from anywhere, without organising a site visit for every check. If there’s a power outage or the device loses its network connection, the system sends an automatic alert to the contacts in charge, so documentation never stops unnoticed.
Privacy protected for everyone on site
Visual monitoring runs at regular intervals: nothing is filmed continuously. Faces, bodies and license plates are automatically blurred in the cloud before an image becomes visible, and the original is never accessible online. This matters on a site where many people work every day and plenty of vehicles pass through.
From construction site to timelapse video
At the end of the six months, the images collected will become a timelapse video telling the story of this phase of the works from start to finish: a useful tool for reporting on the works and for presenting the project to public bodies, partners and citizens. The device is provided on a rental basis and is covered by a third-party liability policy against theft, damage, fire and weather events.
We thank San Maurizio Bolzano for their trust. Want to document your construction site too? Get in touch for an assessment.
